You can be the one who sits and watches as your dreams fly past you, unable to bulk up the courage to reach out and grab them yourself or you could be the other person. When Mia Byers, Cedarfield Heights' popular girl, starts Grade Eleven, she can't help but be judgemental and criticizing of all the guys in her grade. When her friends, Audrey Spring and Stella Odell accidentally stumble upon her critique of some of the boys in their grade, Mia comes up with a plan. She would make a scrapbook full of her honest opinions and critiques about all the guys, for the sake of the female population at school (so they can refine their dating preferences) and for bonus points in popularity. What Mia doesn't know is if the Gradebook will affect her long-sour and non-existent friendship with Ethan Rayes. Best friends in elementary, frenemies in middle school, and... aquaintances in high school. Just when she thought she had a chance to straighten things up with him, there was only one major obstacle standing in her way. The Gradebook.

My name is Autumn, just Autumn. I lived a normal life until I went cheese shopping at half three in the morning. That morning, I met him. To be precise, he even stole that cheese. His name is Death, but please call him Noah. I would like to say that he’s an easy going, calm and nice person to be around, but that would be lying. He’s actually moody, has anger management problems and shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near sharp objects. He’s also my best friend, not that I had any choice in the matter, that is. This is a very complicated story of Death, whose name is actually Noah, his teddy bear, a sixteen year old girl, an extremely irritable math teacher, a broken washing machine and a few damned souls who want to kill me for no apparent reason.

Isn't it a cliche when you fall for the jerk? Puhh-lease. I know all about it. Trust me on this, nothing in life is ever a cliche. Life is life and there are parts of it that you just have to tell the world because they are that important. But, there are things hidden behind the scenes that I know of but refuse to open up to. Will I let my heart go so he can catch it, or will I keep it closed so that I wont get hurt? My life will change, my past will return, my future will be full of...who knows? All I can ask myself is could it be true? After everything I have been through and everything that I am willing to do, is it all worth it or is it just a waste of time? Well, if you ask me, Casandra Carmichael, I am going to tell you this. "Life is a b*tch and will bite you in the a** every time. Who cares though? You get one life and every moment matters. I have done things and will continue to do things that I will hate, love, and possibly regret. But just know that whatever comes your way, you must ask yourself 'Could it be true?' because reality just doesn't play nice."
