Their relationship off-camera begins to parallel their relationship on-camera as the two start to regularly become intimate. However, despite the regular hookups, Lance cannot accept the fact that he has feelings for another man. Keith can only handle Lance's refusal to be in a proper relationship with him for so long. Eventually, he moves on and starts dating other people, forcing Lance to come to terms with his feelings if he ever wants to be with Keith again.
