Suddenly my eyes flutter open. I look around. I'm in a tiny room on a bed with one window and one door. It smells... kinda chemically? I turn my head towards the window only to jump out of my skin. WHOA WHAT THE HECK! I thought. I see a hooded figure with a black cloak holding out a hand for me to... take? In its other hand I see a... NO! No no no no no no NO! A SCYTHE!? This was the grim reaper! Hey! This is the author I just wanted to give you a little clip of the first chapter! 'Life is Pretty GRIM' is about a girl who meets a grim reaper. Along the way they encounter things that are very 'life' threatening, well to a human. The main character Violet is already dead so these things can only make her have pain. She and the grim reaper travel through tests to see wether she will go to heaven or hell... but is there a third option?
