"Who are you?" the supervillain asks. His breathless voice is surprisingly soft. I slam my hands on either side of him, leaning in so close my nose touches his mask. I'm the taller one. "It's 'Please Don't Kick My Sorry Butt,' but you can call me 'Too late, I Already Did.' " And I have to admit, that one I'm a little too proud of. ***Hey, hey! Now a Wattpad featured story!*** The superheroes are gone. For as long as Monet can remember, a league of superheroes has guarded her city. They were the citizens' idols, guardians, and best friends. An extremely dangerous file. An awkward teenager (who'd rather think of himself as the badboy of nerds). A converted, somewhat nice criminal. And an illegal medical lab. All is not what it seems when seventeen-year-old Butch breaks himself out of the local police station, making a somewhat daring run for it with his criminal file. There's just one tiny problem...he grabbed the wrong file and now the police are hunting him down. On a single chance encounter with his estranged brother Jack, who went awol when he was twelve, Butch never expected his luck to turn so horribly wrong. As the dynamically-misconstructed duo venture off in a game of Dodging Death across the countyside, Butch never expected his plans to return the stolen file to go so terribly wrong... Just what did he get himself into? A journey for all those who understand what being an awkward teenager with some wrongs to right is like. _____________________________________ {Completed} *Featured on the following Wattpad official profiles:* - Secret Treasures: The World is a Big Place (YA) - New Adult: It's All Because of the Hormones (Teen Fiction) - Adventure: The Adrenaline Rush - Humor: Hitting the Fun Hard Warning: This story does contain mild-moderate course language, some graphic violence and a lot of sarcasm as a means to portray characters.

The year started out weird, but things really took a turn for the bizarre when we discovered the Buzzfeed quizzes were coming true. ***** Leela Pendurthi is dog-paddling toward adulthood. Armed with a useless BS in astrophysics and a pretty decent data plan, the recent college graduate's life might be in shambles, but at least she has plenty of time to browse dank memes. Her half-assed attempts to slay the chaos dragon (and catch the attention of a local, possibly-autistic podiatrist) have been going relatively smoothly (relatively is a key word, here), until her best friend Abby points out that every Buzzfeed quiz they've taken seems to actually do what its claim to do. Guess their names? Check. Tell them their favorite 1D songs? Yup. When it becomes apparent that they have a chance to glimpse into their futures, one asinine quiz at a time, Leela and Abby embark on a quest to do the impossible: find date-able boys in their Appalachian hometown. While Leela has her cap set on 'emotional stability' and a '401k' and 'dental', Buzzfeed appears to have an entirely different type of guy lined up for her next boyfriend, AND a one-month deadline to meet her soulmate. But Buzzfeed won't be able to answer Leela's most pressing question: can she date and get dumped by a stoner in time to meet her soulmate in 3 weeks? There's no way her soulmate is going to be a pothead, right? Right? *kinda for grown-ups. there's curse words and weed*
