Inspired by another fic found on fanfiction.net, Terminal by AstralWolf, Steve is faced with a severe infection which he may or may not heal from. Friendship/comfort drama/angst, who the team became even closer as friends which only made it more heartbreaking for everyone.

With everything going on, will they rescue their Captain before he succumbs to torture? Even if they do, will he ever be the same? The fact that they were able to hide their relationship for this long is really an accomplishment.
