Para kay Hezira ay isang kathang-isip lamang ang mga bampira. Hindi siya kailanman naging interesado sa mga ito. Pero lahat ay nagbago matapos ang isang madugong gabi nang paslangin ng mga nilalang na 'yon ang nag-iisa niyang pamilya--- ang kanyang ina. Paghihinagpis at ang nais na makapag higanti ang nag-udyok sa kanya para isugal ang buhay at pumasok sa mundo ng mga naiibang nilalang. Alam niyang hindi siya kailanman nabibilang sa mga bampira ngunit paano niya malalabanan ang pangungulila na pinunan ng mga ito? Paano kung sa kanila niya naramdaman ang pagmamahal ng pamilya na kailanman ay hindi na niya mararamdaman pa?
