A man who's eyes are empty. This man will be Hiccup and Astrid's most dangerous adventure yet. Will they make it? This is two stories combined so you can just read the first if you want. Hiccup had enough from everything in his life . getting ignored, bad mouthed and bullied just because he was different from everyone in his tribe. So without any good reasons to stay any longer ,he banished himself with his only friend he ever got from his tribe , even from his father. After everything he went through and all the miserable things he suffered, He doesn't want anything from them anymore... But fate has something different for Hiccup. Having everything he ever wanted, the acceptance for being himself , the better treatment and the love from somewhere after his 14 mistreatment years, got ruined by some people he never wanted to see for almost 8 years after banishing himself and toothless his dragon..... what will Hiccup do ? Will it bring something unexpected to Hiccup? *COMPLETE* Stoick the vast disowns his son, Hiccup, when he finds out that he has sided with the dragons. Hiccup and Toothless escapes from execution, and plans to never come back. But fate has other plans, as Hiccup returns five years later , and finds out he has to save the dragons from both, Berk and the Red Death. But he also has to save his own life, including Berk from a new enemy., Stoick wants his son to stay home, but what he doesn't realize is that Hiccup isn't 'Hiccup' anymore. He's a whole different person. That is not Stoick's son. "Dad?" Hiccup calls. "Yeah." Stoick whispers, peaking his head into his son's room. "..I love you."

Long ago, there was a village of vikings on a small island known as Berk, which suffered weekly, sometimes even nightly raids from fire breathing dragons. However the chief's wife, Valka, believed peace was possible between the Vikings and Dragons but no one believed her. During a terrible raid, she was taken by a dragon that showed signs of kindness. However she wasn't the only one taken since she grabbed her infant, Hiccup Haddock the Third, to keep him away from a fire started by the dragon who was startled by her husband. Unfortunately she couldn't grab her other son, a toddler, in time and he was left behind with his father. Over the years, the boy grew up hating dragons and counted down the days until he could join the warriors in battle, defending his village and avenging his brother and mother. However his father always kept him inside the forge during raids in fear of losing the only family he had left. There, the boy became a bit of an inventor as well as a decent blacksmith. However all of that changed when one night, using one of his inventions, he shot down the most dangerous and mysterious dragon in the entire Archipelago. The Night Fury...

Hiccup was always considered the weakling of the village, he was bullied, pushed around and beaten up by all the other teens, even his cousin and the girl he loved. but it was only until one day when he shot down a night fury the most feared dragon in the whole archipelago, the so called offspring of lightning and death itself. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.

AU. Hiccup never took the shot on that fateful night. Toothless was never shot down-and the war continued. Three years later, Berk is beset by dragon raids and hostile tribes while the boy who should have saved the island is merely the assistant in the forge. Replaced as Heir and with only the beautiful Shield Maiden Astrid as his friend, fate gives Hiccup one more chance to end the war and become the hero he was meant to be. Hiccstrid.
