In Trollhunters, Jim Lake Jr.'s father--James Lake Sr.--supposedly disappeared on Jim's 5th birthday after getting him a bike kit as a present. In this story, James Sr. walks out of Jim's and Barbara's lives after claiming he was only going on a business trip; but in actuality was leaving them for good. While Jim waits for his dad to come back, he meets Toby, who just moved in across the street. When Barbara finds out that James Sr. is never coming home again, she has to break the news to a 5-year-old Jim. This fanfiction is inspired by the Dreamworks series Trollhunters, and is how I imagined what it was like when James Lake Sr. left his family behind. I do not own Trollhunters or the characters.

Sometimes when I get an inspiration for a song or story of some sort, I just write my thoughts down in poetic form. Here are some poems that I have written for fun or in the classroom. I hope you enjoy even if some of you aren't poetry lovers. ;)

In a twist of fate, James Lake Junior disappeared mere days after his tenth birthday. His body was never found. Five years later, Atlas is just a normal teenage boy, who just happens to work for a murderous secretive organization of shape-changing trolls. It's not so bad though. The healthcare is free at least. Until he finds a magical amulet. Suffice to say, things get...interesting. (Trollhunters AU, Jim=Atlas, Half changeling !Jim)

Several weeks had passed since Hisirdoux Casperan returned from the dead to protect Nari at all costs. He; his wizard familiar, Archie; and Nari had to flee Arcadia and leave it to the protection of the Trollhunters and Akaridian Prince. So far, all's been quiet in their little apartment in New York City. During the day, Douxie scrambles with jobs to pay the rent, and at night, he's mercilessly attacked by nightmare after nightmare. The horrors of the past haunt him, and the death of Merlin has scarred him well beyond repair. The order WILL strike. The only question is: When? And will he be able to stop them again? Jim gets tricked by a sorcerer and her apprentice and gets poisoned. With finding out that he in fact isn't dead, he experiences side effects and strange changes. This set weeks after Jim came back from the Darklands, between the episodes "Hiss Hiss Bang Bang" and "Hero Of A Thousand Faces". The events of season 2 will carry out as normal but with the addition of Troll Jim. More of a what if? story to see what would change if Jim somehow became half Troll before Merlin was found. Plus I wanted more Troll Jim content as we didn't get a lot in the original series. Also taking some more creative liberties as well. I don't own any of the characters from this expect from the original characters.

There is a young alchemist in the dungeons; he is broken, and his drained mind is weak, which will make him the perfect target for the evil warlock's return. How can a single drop of sun stop the entire world from transforming into darkness?
