Sixteen-year-old Mara Westray has just lost her mother, and now, being shipped off to live with the father she doesn’t know is not how she imagined grieving. She’s already counting down the days until she turns eighteen and can leave the tiny island of Swans Landing. But from the moment she steps off the ferry, nothing is as ordinary as it looks. Whispers of a haunting song on the wind make her see impossible things, and she isn’t sure she can trust her judgment about what is real and what isn’t anymore. Maybe she can’t even trust her judgment about quiet Josh Canavan, whose way of speaking in riddles and half-truths only confuses her more, luring her deeper into the secrets hidden beneath the ocean’s surface. As she tries to unravel the events that led to her mom fleeing the island sixteen years ago, Mara finds that the biggest secret of all is only the beginning. SURFACING is currently available in ebook format from Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, iTunes, Smashwords, and other ebook retailers. Available in audiobook from Audible, and in print at Amazon. Aiden Walker believes in himself. After all, he is the only person he can depend on considering his parents sent him away and his legal guardian died of cancer. Due to his difficult upbringing, making friends was a skill that never came easily to him. He would rather spend hours behind a computer screen, working on his debut novel. So when he moves to Brickston for a change in scenery, the last thing he expects to get is a roommate. But this roommate isn't a sleazy coach potato that he's used to rooming with. No, she's a ghost. A hot-tempered, impatient, foul-mouthed ghost. Aiden must struggle to keep his priorities in check when his ghost friend urges him to find out who killed her, with the little help of her diary. --current cover made by loved-up-- --trailer made by niallerlover8--

So this is where everything goes down. When the mind screams for freedom but the heart won’t let go from the key. When the imprisoned and innocent captive doesn't have more space available for all his painful memories and needs to breathe again in open spaces. However, the prisoner cannot get rid of the memories while the heart clutches the key like it’s the only thing worth living for. Who can judge him? He beats for that key. What he doesn't know yet is that if he holds it for much longer, it will only end in his shattering and the mind’s suffocation.

Full version of Second Edition available on Amazon and via Kindle Unlimited. Chris Sinclair fades under a dark cloud after losing his mother to cancer. On the cusp of adulthood, he doesn't know where he should go or how to get there. But watching life pass him by was never the plan, and when he is forced to attend a concert in an attempt to coax him out of his shell, he discovers that life might have more to offer. Dante Heron holds the audience between his delicate bow and the tips of his fingers. He plays the violin as if every heart is his to command, but the discipline needed to perfect his skills has left him with nothing to spare. He's a fire that burns too bright or not at all-unpredictable and demanding. When Chris is unexpectedly offered a job to travel around Europe as Dante's assistant, or 'friend', he surprises himself by accepting. Their journey barely starts before Chris realizes he's in over his head. Every step along the way is fraught with tension, and the farther they go, the closer they veer to a breaking point. Invisible strings are at play, stitched into Dante's life by those who should have taught him how to love. Perhaps Chris is right to be afraid, but sometimes, what you fear the most is what you can't afford to lose.
