Hello so I'm wanting to read some fanfic on 'The Cruel Prince' but there wasn't much. So I decided to make one about the best couple ever and if they don't end up together imma djcidijdjsn anyway let's get into the story. New parts everyday!! Going to try to commit to the story this time :)

***MAJOR WICKED KING SPOILERS (set two months after end of book)*** Back in the normal world, Jude is desperate to return to Faerie. So when the High King Cardan turns up unexpectedly on her doorstep, she sees a chance to use him to find a way home. But Jude and Cardan have been playing each other for a long time, and neither can hold up their charades for ever. The night will turn out very differently to what both had planned.

No matter how hard he tries, the new King can't forget her. He want's her, but he hates it. Hates her. After he surrenders to his heart's desires, a new Princess is born. Cardan wasn't expecting an heir so soon, but he raises and cares for the little girl. But what happens when the Queen wants out, and takes the Princess with her? These are not necessarily my exact predictions of where Queen of Nothing will pick up when it comes out next year, but there are elements to this story that I think could play a huge role in the third book in the series.
