I watched his full lips turn up into a smirk and in that moment my heart stopped beating, my mind stopped thinking. Instinctively, I leaned in to close the gap between us... He's the badass player. Partying, having girls chase him and being popular is second nature to him. She's your stereotypical good girl. Smart and almost invisible to guys. Her only weapon is sarcasm. They get to know each other...What do you think will happen? {This is my original work, so please tell me first if you wish to use it in a way at all}

There are two things Harper Lynch wasn't expecting when she made out with an attractive stranger at her aunt's wedding. One: He would show up on her doorstep two weeks later as the son of an old family friend. Two: That he would be staying in her house, right next door to her. If living together isn't enough, Duke starts to go to Harper's school for the year, and immediately earns the status of the senior heartthrob. Suddenly, Harper, the girl who keeps mostly to herself and spends a lot of time in her room watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathons, is the envy of every girl in her high school. Harper couldn't care less, and despite that fact that she has insisted that she has in no interest in Duke, she is still subject to the wrath of jealous, catty bitches and the admiration of wide-eyed freshmen. It really doesn't help that Duke is constantly flirting with her in his own irritating yet charming way. Harper refuses to be yet another conquest, but is that what Duke wants? Or does he want more?

"You and I both know that any girl would kill to be in your position, with me, right now." He smirks, knowing that what he's said is completely and utterly true. Lea Wilson and River Parker don't mix; they don't like the same things, their lives are majorly different. But, what if these two people who are least expected to spend time with each other are doing exactly that? And, not only at school but at home as well. After Lea's house falls apart due to a termite infestation, the Wilson's are invited to stay at an old family friend's mansion of a house. The family friend also happens to be River's father. I'll give you time to digest that information. Yes, you're right. The sarcastic nerd and the egotistical heart-throb live under the same roof and encounter a series of events that make the two do something they didn't think would happen. They grow closer, and closer, and closer, until...well, you'll have to find that out for yourself. Follow them through their adventures of falling in love, getting their hearts broken, and learning lessons that explain there is more to life than they have ever imagined. June 27, 2018: [READ AT YOUR OWN RISK] {Much cringing shall ensue because this was written just over five years ago and the writing style is cringeworthy until further notice} Rose is a sweet, beautiful girl who is beaten and abused every day by her father. Her mother died when she was twelve in a car wreck. She had shielded Rose from the impact using her own body and died shortly after in the hospital. For four years, Rose has been cut, bruised, slapped, kicked, everything but raped. Her father became an alcoholic and only her five best friends know about the abuse. So, one day, she decides she finally can't take it anymore and runs away. That's when she meets Kole. A cocky, good looking, werewolf who can catch any girl he wants. Any girl but Rose. Can Rose learn to let down her walls and trust Kole? Will Kole be able to win her over? And if he does, will he play her like a harp, or will he actually care for her and possibly fall in love with her? Then, his wolf tells him something about her, but will he listen? Will the two fall in love and live happily ever after or will someone/something get in the way and keep them apart? Will Rose's father find her and take her away, back to her old life? Or is there more to this story than what meets the eye?
