excelling calculus as a freshmen in highschool? extraordinary. at least that was what it was to eddie kaspbrak, a freshmen who wasn't excelling so much in algebra one. maybe it was the fact that they had been the closest of friends since sunday school when they were both three n' a half that played into their budding future.
for richard 'richie' tozier, numbers were easy. they only have one answer, and nothing about them was complicated. on the other hand, people were different. eddie being one problem that was especially hard to solve.
for eddie 'eds' kaspbrak, numbers were hard. they were confusing and much too blunt, never cushioning his fall from a 'b-' to a 'd+'. on the other hand, he could work a person til they were thin.
what problems could they solve together, and more importantly, which could they create?
