This is an Eleventh Doctor and Rose fan fiction. Even though the Doctor regenerated, he still remembers. He remembers Rose Tyler. They meet again and the Doctor remembers her. He's delighted to see her, although he still hurts over her a little. But she doesn't recognize him. Rose Tyler does not recognize the Doctor. This hurts him, but it is as he expected. How will he cope with this, and how will she react when she realizes who John Smith really is?

Doctor Who drabble. I actually have these headcanons of myself as the Doctor's companion and I kind of do the River thing where I meet him out of order all the time. So this is set after Ten's regeneration and sometime in the middle of running with the Ponds. And it also describes very well my relation to the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors (for those who have been confused).
