Jasper finally has Serena back, but something is wrong. The now half-Pearl hybrid has no memories of anything that happened before becoming half-gem and is acting like a recently booted pearl.

Serena was a shy young 17 year old girl visiting her cousins in Beach City for the first time. Little did she know about the many magical beings known as gems, or that she would fall in love with a big, strong and orange gem known as Jasper. (Takes place after the events of the movie)

So this is how Jasper becomes neutral she doesn't want to be a crystal gem but she is rejected by homeworld so she joins them anyway and comes to tolerate and maybe even "like" them but this doesn't effect her personality she's still very mean and can get out of hand at times she resides in the barn with lapis and peridot which neither like her very much but Peri and steven are willing to try and be friends while lapis treats her beyond worse than she did to Peridot . As peridot and jasper become closer and lapis begins to question how "bad" she is someone in there new friend ship grows to like the other more than the average like wonder who it is? Well as the story progresses you'll find out. Lapis Lazuli had chained her. Dragged her to the bottom of the sea and held her in an iron grip. The sea was dark, and Jasper marvelled at it's likeness to space. It seemed infinitely deep, much like her captor's eyes... They had fused. It was something Jasper had never done before, and as she bode her time, awaiting a chance for escape, she couldn't help but become addicted. She was beginning to love the feeling of their merged form. Until the Quartz child interfered. Then Jasper was left to sit alone beneath the waves. She could wait, she was certain. For now, she could think over her emotions. (My version of what happened while Jasper was alone after fusing with Lapis, up to the point where she asks Lapis to fuse with her again.)
