Julie grew up in a strict Catholic household, so the beliefs about sex are: all sexual intercourse must be reserved for marriage and adult films are viewed as an offense against chastity because it extracts sexual acts from the lifelong commitment of marriage and displays them publicly for third parties or personal gratification. Julie found herself drawn to the industry by a genuine interest in sexual exploration, body positivity, and the freedom to express sexuality creatively. John Holmes, the "King of Porn" has starred in over 100 films, has slept with many beautiful women, and is in his prime. He's working for Jack Horner; a filmmaker whose mission is to make films with merit beyond the sex scenes. When newcomer Julie Sinclair shows up at his studio hoping to get a role, Jack decides to give her a chance and casts Julie in his latest film. While shooting the film, Julie and her male co-star have an issue with their onscreen chemistry. Jack tries to fix the issue by asking John to replace the male actor and star in the film with Julie. The film is successful and so is the onscreen chemistry between Julie and John. Will John and Julie's onscreen chemistry become a real-life chemistry as well?
