This is a Gilmore Girls fan-fiction of how I imagine life in Stars Hollow if Lorelai had another daughter and Rory had a sister, plus a few other additions. While Rory and Lorelai are best friends, Rory and her sister, Calliope (Callie) are also extremely close. As with Lorelai and the whole town. This book starts from the first episode of the original TV show and is viewed through the eyes of Callie. Rory dreams of going to Harvard but Callie isn't sure what she wants to do. She doesn't want to follow in her sister's footsteps or her mom's. But she's afraid that if she doesn't, she'll get left behind.

This story is the same story that I had on here before, "Gilmore Girls: The Gilmore Girls Are Back!" "Gilmore Girls: An Alternate World" is going to start off with a few flashbacks and then it'll take off where my previous story, "Gilmore Girls: The Gilmore Girls Are Back" took off. There'll be flashbacks every now and then as well! It'll be very "How I Met Your Mother" esque, sometimes! One day, as I was writing, I thought wouldn't it be fun if I had Lorelai NOT be an only child? and that Rory would be super close with her aunts? then a wonderful friend of mine and I got to talking and she gave me a LOT of great material and ideas to work with, and I really couldn't have made this story without her!
