In una piccola scuola superiore di Daegu, Min Yoongi è un ragazzo timido e introverso che si limita a guardare la vita scorrergli davanti da lontano, come se lui non facesse parte di essa. Osserva gli altri come se vivesse attraverso loro. Non ha amici, solo conoscenti, ma stare da solo non gli dispiace. C'è una persona in particolare che a Yoongi piace osservare: Park Jimin. Lui è, o almeno sembra, una persona totalmente diversa da Yoongi: è sempre circondato da gente che lo ama, che lo stima, che lo acclama. Ma Yoongi sa che qualcosa non va: non è possibile che a tutti piaccia quel ragazzo, immagina che ci sia qualcosa che nasconde e vuole sapere di cosa si tratta. La sua immagine è troppo perfetta per essere vera. Yoongi vorrebbe sapere chi c'è veramente dietro la maschera di perfezione che Jimin indossa, ma non sa come avvicinarsi a lui, e non sa come potrebbe reagire.
