Patton and Logan are a newly married couple. They both have good jobs, just bought a house in a good neighborhood and feel ready to start their family. Logan and Patton are the parents of the adopted 3 year old twins Remus and Roman. Dean (Deceit) is a single father of adopted 3 year old Virgil, who just moved in to the house across the street. Virgil, though only 3, deals with extreme anxiety, he's a slow learner so he doesn't talk very much and rarely, if not ever, leaves Dean's side and has developed trust issues and PTSD due to the incident that caused them to move in the first place. Unfortunately due to the new circumstances, Dean now has to work so that they can afford to live and is unable to afford for Virgil to go to daycare. Since Patton is a stay at home dad and was very friendly the first time meeting, Dean puts Virgil in his care also hoping that it will help Virgil with his social skills and being around other kids his age. It was pouring the first day of school. Roman was driving along the road when he saw a frightened Virgil backing away from a stranger. Though he was warned to not help outcasts, he had to. As the four become closer, they learn to face their problems head on together. As you grow older, you start to realize that playing is a luxury, and working is an obligation, one of the few tragedies of growing up. Although many people would like to forget about it or ignore it, there's a time period in your life that doesn't force you to work, but if you don't you're called lazy and doesn't allow you to play, but if you don't they call you boring. This time of your life is called adolescence. And it's just as the name indicates: Painful. The story is a Re-write of mine, but the characters belong to Thomas Sanders and his team.

What did I learn, you ask? 1. I learned that grape jelly with scrambled eggs in a sandwich aren't that bad. 2. I learned how to make spaghetti from scratch. Well, kind of. I failed, which is why I made that grape jelly and scrambled egg sandwich anyway. 3. I learned that there really are people that love me. Well, I learned that before, but now I actually believe it.
