During the entrance exams, sparks fly between the two. Literally. Starting off on the wrong foot, the two get the wrong first impressions of the other, and become enemies over a simple misunderstanding. As the two face different obstacles during their adventures at UA, destiny, fate, or just plain old coincidence, pulls the two together, and they discover what they originally thought wasn't necessarily true.
