Set during the renown years of Martial Law, this story revolves around a 22-year old History teacher, Leah Jacinto, who encountered an accident that transported her from year 2018 to year 1973. Stuck in the past, Leah was mistaken as Thelma Robles, a college writer arrested for denouncing the administration of president Marcos in her school paper. Because of her close physical resemblance to the said criminal, Leah knew that no one will believe her innocence thence she escapes on the night of her punishment and faces the brink of death. However, before she bid her life goodbye in a decade where she didn't belong, a Journalism student saves her life with the most unpredictable intentions.
Mistaken Identity is a work of fiction based from a real event that happened in the history of the Republic of the Philippines-the Martial Law. Some claim it as the darkest chapter in Philippine history nevertheless, others beg to disagree and see it as the best thing that ever happened to the country.

Salamat.
