Modern AU Believing his relationship could affect his career, Roy Mustang breaks up with Edward who is heartbroken by the news, but only says a single 'Whatever' despite the hurt in his eyes leaving Roy's life for good. Many years later, the raven haired male has come to regret that decision unable to keep a relationship together, wondering what became of the blond whom he had hurt years earlier while spending the day with Hawkeye. (This sounds very similar to my other Royed story 'The Love We Had' plot wise, but it's a little different trust me...)

Yes, this is an 'Ed kidnapped' fic that popped into my head. Ultimately, this will be the first story posted on my own profile. Hope you enjoy it!

Edward is sent to war. He lives through it, but is plagued by the memories. Sometimes he wonders if he should have just died. Sometimes he wonders if he should just off himself.

Before Trisha died, Edward had another interest besides alchemy. Guitar. With a strum of his fingers, he could bring forth a beautiful sound from the secondhand instrument he held. After she died, however, the guitar was never taken from its case and was eventually burnt along with the house. Now, years later, Alphonse has bought him one. The promised day is in the past, Alphonse has his body back, their wrong have been righted. But will Edward be able to play those familiar and beautiful notes and chords once again?
