**WARNING: THIS STORY CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT AND LANGUAGE** "You're going to listen to me whether you like it or not" he grabbed my arms and I stared at him, the water from the shower falling onto us. Drops of water fell from his curls as his face was inches away from mine. "I'm sorry! Please understand that I'm sorry" his eyes dilated as he looked down at me and I felt more tears run down my cheeks. "She doesn't mean anything to me. I've been feeling lonely and as much as I hate to say it, she's only been a distraction." His voice croaked and his hands moved from my arms to my face. I looked up at him, as his thumbs wiped away my tears and he sighed. "I can't lose you Daisy Lanson. Please understand that I'm sorry if I hurt you. You're all I have in this world and I can't afford to lose you" His voice felt broken as he looked down at me, the two of us soaking wet underneath the shower.
