It's just a girl. Just a regular girl. Nothing special about her. She's a little pretty. Okay, she's REALLY pretty. And nice. Do I have a....crush on her? Nah, that's impossible. It's only Clementine, she's just a friend. Or is she? I don't know what to do. I'll ask mom. But that'll be weird. Maybe I shouldn't do anything. But what if our group splits up? Maybe I should tell her that I like her... in a special way. Oh, I know! I should kiss her! That's what Dad did to mom, then they got married a few years later and had me. Okay, now I need to be confident. I'm good at that....but not when it comes to girls. This is so confusing.

This is a story about a ten year old boy named Duck who goes through a new life: A zombie apocalypse. A "what if" scenario if Duck never got bit. We'll see how his personality changes and his version of events from the entirety of season 1. From the story of The Walking Dead game. I don't own The Walking Dead game. It's by Telltale.

In the apocalypse Clem learns that she cannot remain innocent or else she would die.She promised her best friend Duck that she would remain strong for him.After being together for so long they slowly start falling for each other.

What if Duck never died in the first season of the Walking Dead? What if he stayed alive with Clementine until the very end? In this story, Duck had never died. We get to see how his personality has changed, we get to see his version of events and, most importantly, we get to see how he handles situations with Clementine and what he thinks. Since this is mainly from Duck's point of view, Clementine's thoughts and feelings aren't focused on too much but don't worry, she gets chapters here and there on how she feels and what she thinks. Characters that are not in the original game will appear, since Duck's story can and will verge away from Clementine's story. For example, at Carver's there are three new people introduced. There is violence, death and child abuse. It will get dark and some chapters will get graphic and descriptive, especially as the book goes on. You have been warned. It also has LGBTQA+ representation. Some subtle and some obvious and said straight out. If you are uncomfortable with it, either don't read or read and don't comment about how much you hate it. And lastly, I have no rights to the game nor to any pictures I use. With that said, enjoy my story. (The earlier chapters were written when I was just starting out.
