{Based on the Video game, 'Ephemeral: Fantasy of the Dark'} The main character, Bella, is a 16 years old witch that lived a sheltered life with her grandmother in the witch town. One day Bella suddenly gets and admissions letter to the Alderic School, a school for all creatures of the dark. In the monster world there is a hierarchy that's based off race and being a witch, she is the close the the lowest ranking race in the school. On the first day of class the teacher tells Bella that previously there was some problems in the school due to discrimination amongst the the students because lower ranking races are often harassed by higher ranking races. When Bella introduces herself to the class everyone assumed that, because she was so beautiful, she was a mermaid which is the highest ranking race. Since Witches are isolated from everyone, no one really knows anything about them and all thought that witches were hideous with green skin, wrinkled faces and large warts on their noses. After this happens the teacher introduces Shiba, Ray, Natsume and Nagi and tells Bella to pick one to basically be her sponsor and help her out until she gets use to everything.
