By no logical reason would Logan (logic) and Patton (Morality) ever be considered friends let alone anything more than that. In high school people stick to their own groups: nerds or geeks, jocks, musicians, artists, skateboarders, you name it! Nobody ever breaks form their group and mingles with another. Logan is one said geek, although, he never really talks to others much and would much prefer to be reading or conducting one of his many experiments. Patton is one of, if not the, nicest kid in school. He's the one always sitting at the long table at lunch happily asking you to donate your extra change to whatever charity was decided for that day. He only had a few close friends, but people tend to flock to him because of his cheerful personality. What happens when these two completely opposite people start to spend some time together? "Ew, you can't sit here septic eye." A kid shoved Jack away from the lunch table he was about to sit at, making him drop his tray of food. "What, you gonna cry septic eye?" Another kid teased him, kicking him behind the knees so he fell to the ground. "Please leave me alone." Jack whispered, his voice barely audible. A crowd had started gathering, anxious for a fight. A fight never started. "Leave him alone." A kid with red hair pushed through the crowd, helping Jack stand. "What's your name?" The kid asked. "My name's Sean, but you can call me Jack." He held up a hand for the kid to high five. "I'm Mark." The kid smiled, giving Jack a high five. "Welcome to Los Angeles High School."

"Woah." Mark gasped in awe as he looked around the cave he and Jack had taken shelter in. "I didn't know there was caves in Brighton." Jack admitted as he ran a hand along its wall. "Look, there's pictures!" Jack exclaimed as he pointed at the walls. Cave paintings filled every inch of the cave with beautiful colors and dramatic pictures. "There's something written here." Mark interjected as he ran a finger along the words etched into the entrance of the cave. "Legends never die." Mark read aloud. "What does that mean?" Jack frowned in confusion. "Let's find out." Mark shrugged as he poked his head back into the cave with Jack to read the story.
