Marinette is a simple village girl. She had lived in the same little village all her life with her best friend Alya and her two loving parents. Until one day her parents are wrongfully accused of poisoning the queen at their bakery and are executed without proof. Marinette promised that day that she would make her parents proud and restore their family name. The time has now come. The choosing process has just begun for Prince Adrien's hand and all almost all the girls in the kingdom would be trying to get it. If you were to make it into the top 40 girls you would immediately rise up to 5th in the rankings. Make it to the last 20 and go to 4th. Last 10? 2nd in ranking. Marinette had no desire to win over Adrien but to get up to 2nd, something a 9 such as herself would never get to on their own, was a free pass to do whatever you please. Will Marinette's plan succeed? Or will she face unexpected twists?
