When Niall wakes up from being in a coma for 1 year and doesn't remember a thing. He is met by no one around him. Nurses say his parents left him 7 months ago. All he knew was his name. Nothing else, what happens when the hospital kicks him out and he has no where else to go? No job No money No parents No friends No car No phone How will he survive? Niall Horan, a 19-year-old Irish lad living in London, is just a normal teenage boy. Yet, there's something a bit off about him... When he was 6, a mysterious symbol was permanently etched between his shoulder blades. He has no clue as to how it got there, and this strange mark leaves him to believe that he is different from everybody else. After a strange incident at school involving Niall and a frozen boy, Niall is suddenly thrown into a boarding school for the "gifted". There, he discovers that there are people like him who are different from the rest of society. Will Niall finally feel like he belongs? Or is there something about him that separates him from others who have special abilities? Add a cheeky, curly-haired boy into this chaos, and this is going to be one hell of a rollercoaster...

{Niall's Pov} I sat in my room with my back up against the wall with my hands over my ears. I wanted him to go away. I needed him to get out of my head. You did this... His voice whishpered in my ear. I shook my head and he laughed. You know that your the reason I'm gone. I stood to my feet and reached for the door handle opening the door leaving the room slamming the door shut behind me. I stepped back from it and felt someone's hand rest on my shoulder making me jump. I turned around seeing that it was my dad. "Niall are you alright son?" "H-He's not dead..." I muttered looking back at the door "Niall we've talked about this..." He starts and I cut him off and point at the door. He pulls me into his chest and hugs me rubbing my back. I shook uncontrolably hoping that someone would listen to me. No one ever did.
