According to Harvard University, the Oxford Edition dictionary, the meaning of abhorrence, a word I didn't even know how to spell was "A feeling of revulsion; disgusted loathing" and their example suited me oh so perfectly -
the thought of marrying him filled her with abhorrence
It was a perfect match because standing opposite him, there was nothing but distaste in the idea of marrying him, oh Harvard, you understand me.
