While Natasha and Bucky try to fend off the impending fight between their cliques, they discover they aren't hating each other as much as they think they should. With conflict always comes bonding and shared trauma. However, there are certain things that just seem impossible to overcome. This will mainly be a Winter Widow story (some romance and a lot friendship) but there will be Stucky and Romanogers as friend ships. This is my first story. Bucky Barnes is finally starting to get back bits of his past with the help of Shuri, but it is jumbled and unclear. As he attempts to sort them, he struggles to put the pieces together to get his memories back and see what, if anything, was good about the life he had wiped away from him. As his dreams start reveal more detail, Bucky thinks he recognizes someone he's just getting to know now. Is it actually a memory or is he is trying to put together something that was never there? This is a prequel to 'From Russia With Love' and all the books after that. This takes place directly after the Black Widow and Winter Soldier's first meeting. How do they fall in love and how do they keep it a secret from Hydra? How are they torn apart time and time again? This also covers Natasha's story after she escapes Hydra thanks to Clint Barton. How does she handle being without James and how does she handle a new job?
