Choose one soulmate, and cause the other's untimely demise. Not naturally, no, they would punch their own ticket because of your choice. The overwhelming reality of being not chosen causes the unwanted soulmate to fall into a deep depression, and quickly end their life. Now, you, being one of the people who could not have two significant others for long periods of time, had a choice: marry Shouta Aizawa and kill Hizashi Yamada, or marry Hizashi Yamada and kill Shouta Aizawa? Not only is the choice the hardest one of your life, but, if you make the wrong choice, there's no "do-over."
