Five clans have been living together peacefully alongside the forest, the cliffs, and the large flowing river that they call home. However, a new leader is prophesied to threaten this peace. Ryepaw, an apprentice, ends up befriending Silverflight, a warrior, and Leafspeck, a medicine cat. These three cats will band together in order to discover the truth behind this leader, and to stop this prophecy from coming true. They will stop at nothing to protect their clans.

Dawnkit is born into SunClan with a bright future, along with her littermates she wants nothing more than to serve her Clan. However, tragedy strikes at a young age when her sister, Willowkit dies. Dawnkit makes a promise to her dying sister to become leader of SunClan, no matter what but as she grows she learns that becoming leader isn't easy, and it may not be what she wants. As a warrior, she learns that a dangerous foe is threatening her Clan, and she realizes she must do everything she can to protect the Clan she loves.

Adder had always heard stories about the four Clans from his mother. Those stories stuck with him for moons even after her death; and living as a rogue, he eventually sought out to find Windclan. However, Windclan has been losing a lot of cats lately. Deaths ranging from elders to their best warriors. Is it just bad luck or is it something far more sinister?
