As members of the Inazuma Eleven fandom, we know all too well what it feels like not to get the recognition we deserve for our fanfictions. Perhaps your piece is not what fits the conditional mold, or has been overran by ReaderxCharas, "random" books, and lost under the mediocre works of popular authors. Maybe you have done everything you could think of, revising, advertising, and updating steadily, only to find your comment boxes empty. Don't worry, we understand. We know there are many out there, seeking their chance for a breakthrough. We are the call. Here is your chance. Brought to you by fellow Inazuma Eleven fanfiction writers who have banded together to make a second season possible, we present The Lightning Awards, the first Inazuma Eleven writing contest on Wattpad. We have learned from our past mistakes and revised the contest in hopes of improving the experiences that we give to participants. So brothers, sisters, heed the call. Come and unite. Energy has built up for too long. The air is crackling, and the skies have darkened.
