The 5th foster home Abigail is in, the Walters, she is abused by both her older foster brother and her foster parents, treated like a Cinderella. When Lin-Manuel Miranda sees Abigail with the Walters his sweet perfect heart breaks and he starts keeping an eye out for the girl. Only when the Walters return Abigail 2 weeks before Christmas, does Lin take in Abigail as she is both fostered and eventually adopted by the cast of Hamilton.
