The soul danced and rejoiced on the melancholic music of its failure all alone in its jungle city and cried over the moon. It counted the stars, hoping someday all of it would be alright but then all the hopes were shattered as the nostalgic feeling haunted every night. It shattered and broke many a times so finally it got used to it but still it bleeds and it bleeds with simplicity, painfully, infinitely, so then in one of the loneliest hours of midnight in lack of a listening ear that it decided to pour all that into poetry and quotes and theories and paras and then came this. Athena (Atty) Rose Pincent was named after the Greek Goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration and strength, by parents that had an infatuation with the ancient Gods. But Athena had little interest in such things, like most 17 year old girls. She did not like anyone calling her by her given name and she adopted Atty as her name. Beautiful, but tough and independent, she was outspoken and took no shit from anyone, including the irritating voice in her head, that had plagued her for as long as she could remember. She was a typical teenager, living a life that she tolerated, while searching for her true identity. Little did she know that her name was more than reference to an ancient Goddess. She awoke one morning to a world in which she was all alone, except for the irritating voice in her head, which soon became more than just a voice. In some strange twist of fate, the voice became human. A woman who took the name Cat. Together the two prepared to face a world, they thought, consisted of just the two of them. But it became quickly evident that they were not alone and that Atty's namesake was not just a reference to a bygone age. In a world of arrogant, self serving Gods and Goddesses, Atty and Cat soon learned that if they were to survive, they would have to become more than just two teenage girls. They had to discover and become what they truly were, before it was too late.

Are we all lost stars , trying to light up the dark . Humans are a reflection of the stars , distant but bright .

This is an acrostic poem, its genre is what I like to term as Philosophical Science and in this case relates to the origin of the universe and the big bang as if it were the conception and birth of a child.
