I am fine with the way my life is. I'm fine with the Saviors constantly bugging me. I'm also fine with keeping secrets from people I know and trust. Well, that was what I thought until Carl showed me that being fine isn't always the best. There can always be better. Now, what all will I have to do to survive with my new friends from Alexandria?

My mom died when I was little, which means I'm the daughter of Negan, who's a psycho. He enjoys beating people to death with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, named Lucielle. We live at this place called The Sanctuary, but sometimes I wish I could run away. I'm worried I'll live my whole life here and never get to fight for myself out there, even though it's an apocalypse. I keep hoping that one day I'll wander off and find love, or a better group that actually protects eachother, but in my case, who everyone knows me as, I don't think it's possible.

As Carl and his group slowly and painfully survive the apocalypse, turns out someone else was too. (Y/n) was living in what was left of the world alone, hungry... but not scared. When (Y/n) meets Carl and his group its the last thing she thought she would be scared of... Trusting people. And most importantly, falling in love. The book cover is by @insanityorremedy!

So this is just an idea I got for a project in my English class (the project was: we had to write a SHORT story) but this one ended up being waaayyy too long for a 'shot' story so I decided to make it a full on book or series or whatever you wanna call it. Anyways it is a reader insert because I want it to be open for anyone to be the main character and let's be honest here who wouldn't wanna be the love interest/girlfriend of the Chandler Riggs.
