Any bruises or cuts they receive appear on your body. Other people have this kind of tie to their soulmates too, it was just rare and it seems like you've got a bad one. Your soulmate is constantly getting injured and it's driving you insane..

Peter Parker was just a guy you had in some of your classes. He was incredibly smart and often quiet, which was why you didn't notice him much. At least not until you're paired with him for a project in one of your classes. Slowly but surely you begin to notice him and all his quirks. He's handsome and wonderful and- broken. He'd been hurt long before you met him- had his trust and heart shattered right in front of his face- but he'd never tell you. Peter harbors many secrets- and it seems like his best kept ones are his feelings for you.

Soulmates are the norm. Everyone has one, and they're all connected the same way. There are no strings or timers or temporary color blindness. You feel just about everything your soulmate does. Happiness. Sadness. Anger. Pain. You can see where they got hurt if the wound is drastic enough- you can guess how and why. Everyone is born with one colorless rose and it tells you of how your life with your soulmate will play out once you meet them. If it becomes a bright red, you are to live a beautiful life. Black means it ends tragically. Dull means it is unfulfilling or hard to maintain. Thorns? No one knows. It has never happened on record and anyone who knows of any stories does not want to talk of them..
