When ambitious journalism student, Aurora Denver, starts a new job dancing at an unknown club hidden in the city, she thinks she's just trading her late night study sessions for quick cash and stage lights. But, the clubs emotionally unavailable, downright confusing owner, Harry Styles, is more than what meets the eye. A man with secrets buried in the shadows of the busy city. Drawn to his dangerous, charismatic charm, she finds herself torn between her dreams of education - the story that could launch her career - or fighting against her morals to protect a dangerous criminal. As the lines blur between love and betrayal, she finds the most dangerous stories happen to be the ones you become apart of. Deceit - where nothing is as it seems. Every truth masks a lie. Can you unravel the truth before anyone else? - "Are you gonna keep those lips shut for me, Princess? Or am I gonna have to make you?" He whispered tauntingly, leaning in closer to breathe cynically and I could practically hear amusement in his tone. I say nothing. Attempting to control my breathing and not break into deeper panic as my lips stayed sealed with his touch on them, slowly dragging the sensation down over my chin where he continued to smear the crimson blood. "C'mon, I know you're itching to talk back... or have I finally silenced you, hm?" He chuckled through his taunting. "Tell me Princess... are we gonna have a problem?" Slowly, I shook my head from side to side. It caused him to squeeze my chin, all of his fingertips now on me staining the imprint of his touch onto my face. He shifted his touch south, cupping the side of my neck and I squirmed against the wall at the feeling of his handprint on a sensitive area, his head moved away from my opposing ear to look down at me once again. "This is our little secret, yeah? I wouldn't want you to be the next one tied to that chair with your blood splattered on the floor." - Started: March 2024 Finished:

"You shouldn't be here," he says. His voice is flat, devoid of the warmth I keep looking for. I don't look away. I can't afford to. "And yet... here I am." Harry doesn't smile. He just exhales, the scent of expensive whiskey and cold air hitting my face as his eyes track the way my pulse jumps in my throat. "Lucky for you... I'm in the mood to let it slide." // Ariella was supposed to be a star. She survived a past that should have killed her, and she was ready to leave the wreckage behind for a microphone and a stage. But a gig at The Sterling-a high-end hotel owned by Harry Styles didn't buy her a way out. Hired to be a voice for the elite, Ella quickly realizes she's just a shield. A beautiful, tragic distraction for Harry to use while he moves weapons through the city's shadows. But Harry isn't the only one with a motive. Blackmailed by a detective to spy on the city's most dangerous family, Ella is forced to play a double game to save her sister's life. She's trapped between a law that doesn't care if she breathes and a mafia leader who is starting to own her. She's hearing secrets she can't unhear. She's seeing murders she can't forget. And the more she plays the role of a lifetime, the more she realizes the biggest threat isn't the men in suits or the guns in their hands. It's the fact that she's starting to find a home in the one place that will surely destroy her. In this game, the first one to feel... loses. *CONTAINS MATURE AND EXPLICIT CONTENT* Have you ever met someone that made falling feel like flying? ~•~~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ Preview: "Do you think, if you jumped from this roof - it'd feel like falling or flying?" I ask, keeping up with our theme of asking random useless questions that we've been going back and forth with for the past half hour. I stare at my feet swinging back and forth, looking down at the alleyway behind the building; pondering the question over in my head that I often wonder too much about. I glance over to Harry when he doesn't answer straight away and he's watching me with a look I can't read. "Unless you were a bird or could fly, it would just feel like falling. Because you'd know you were going to hit the ground" he decides to answer, staring at me like he's somewhat bothered that I asked him that. I look back down at the ground, and shrug my shoulders, "I think if you didn't care about hitting the ground it could feel like flying for a few seconds." ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ STARTED 11TH MARCH 2019 - ONGOING
