This story takes place in the setting of the TV show aired from 2009 to 2011 called Sally Bollywood: Super Detective. The characters went to Little Bombay High School in Cosmopolis, a large, diverse city spanning many, many miles. However, they're aged 20 now, 5-7 years older than in the show, and go to university.
