Life is like a civil war. One minute it seems perfect but then out of the blue life just happens. A young girl of 16 years old starts to discover herself and also her traditions and culture that she has grew up with. Life as an African comes with many things. She has yet to discover that what she believes is simple in life is not that simple. Outside of Africa people have put barriers in the way of your success, but how strong is this coloured/black child willing to be to achieve her success in this dark and dangerous world. Where light seems to be a fading existence in ones life. Are you going to journey with this African on a journey of self discovery or are you going to let the barriers take her down. What is love? Such a simple question, but do we truly know what it is? Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is everlasting. Alreesha is a young girl of seventeen trying to figure out what love is. She steps out of her comfort zone to discover herself and those around her. She meets many people alongst the way that either makes her understand love or detest it. Love can be shown in many ways. It is not necessarily the physical kind of love but rather an emotional or even intellectual kind of love. Love is just another four letter word unless it is defined.

Sometimes what we think we can see is actually an illusion of something that should not be revealed. Is this the truth? Is life not about discovery and going on an unknown journey. We live in a world where death conquers life. Is this truth? Life and death balances out. Both are beautiful and graceful as ever. Creeping in when least expected but known to occur. For life to occur death must appear. Let's see life's journey with this young person. A product of a tainted World or something else? What if both were to go on the most unlikely of journeys. What if deaths story is a story that is centuries old. What if deaths heart was stolen and now he looks for it. Can the pair end up going on a journey of something so- out of this world.
