Prince Hugo's older brother, Axel, and their father are going on an Ever Realm Academy retreat for the weekend, which means it'll be just Hugo and his mother, Samira. Sofia will be sleeping over for one night. Samira thinks it's time to give Hugo a pedicure at home. Because she doesn't get a chance to tell her son what a pedicure is, Hugo thinks it means getting his feet cut off!

When Axel gives Hugo the extra carabiners, Sofia suggests Hugo start a Princely Adventure Club for the princes at Royal Prep...even if it means she won't be in it because she's a princess. While Hugo is busy with his new club, Sofia decides to start a princess club. When Amber insists they have a Lily Princess Club, everyone is thrilled...except Sofia. When Sofia tries to protest, the other princesses exclude her much to her dismay. When Hugo hears this, he invites Sofia to be in his club due to her princely nature. Sofia and Hugo are finally enjoying themselves, but will the other princesses learn why Sofia doesn't like lilies?

After learning that Prince Hugo's big brother, Axel, calls him "Baby Bro", Sofia's friends decide to give each other fun nicknames. Everyone is having fun except for Sofia, whom Amber insists on referring to as "Grape". She doesn't even realize that Sofia's feelings are hurt. Can a lesson from Hugo help the princesses realize that nicknames can hurt? (Hugo's song "Nicknames" is in the same tune as the show's song "Know It All". Princesses Amber, Clio, and Hildegard have no idea what to write in their diaries. Then they notice that Sofia has been acting differently, and they sense that she's in love. When Sofia isn't looking, the three princesses read in her diary that she has a crush on Prince Hugo and she'll be dancing at the upcoming springtime ball with him. Jealous of her sister's crush, Amber decides to come between them. She tries to make Hugo jealous by flirting with Prince Desmond, and she tries to make Sofia jealous by flirting with Hugo. But this only intimidates Desmond and rattles Hugo's nerves

Freeing Princess Elena from the Amulet of Avalor was exciting enough for Sofia. But when Sofia and her family sleepover at Prince Hugo's palace, Princess Hildegard jealously tries so hard to upstage Sofia that her magical amulet pulls her inside! Sofia gets the amulet to choose Hugo to bear it and get her out. Hugo suggests the royals travel to Avalor, so he can travel to the Maruvian temple to release Sofia. But despite the procedure being performed correctly, the amulet won't release Sofia! It looks like Hugo needs another procedure to get her out, but what?

Princess Adara has recently transferred to Royal Prep, and she's taken an instant liking to Prince Hugo. But every time Sofia comes around, Hugo starts paying attention to her instead, which is enough for Adara to notice the spark between them. Since Hugo and Sofia are going to be in an ice-dancing competition, they'll be spending even more time getting ready. Adara becomes jealous of Sofia and does everything she can to make her look bad in front of Hugo. Will she go too far?
