Căci cum putea un fiu risipitor după care suspineau toate fetele din regat, un desfrânat, să readucă gloria tărâmului „Royalia"? Au trecut 365 de zile de atunci. Dușmanii nu-l onorau și nici nu considerau că le-ar merita respectul. În schimb împărțeau ceva cu royanii: frica. „Să te temi de pietrele de aquamarin pe care le are înloc de ochi. Să te temi de focul pe care-l trimite înloc de privire. Să te temi de acel rânjet, căci e semnalul pe care ți-l oferă înainte să-ți zdrobească lumea. Să te temi de regele Daemen, fiindcă e însăși moartea în persoană, ascunsă sub un chip divin" Tăcerea lui îți face sângele să fiarbă, căci regele nu vorbește. Oh, nu. Regele ascultă, cercetează, învață. Are mers agil, brațe puternice, picioare lungi. 1 metru nouăzeci de mister, aroganță, putere. Sihara a fost dată în semn de sacrificiu. Mâna singurei fete din Regatul Mării și focul nu avea să le ardă casa din temelii. Dar cum ar putea o ființă ca ea să supraviețuiască în „Royalia"? „E al meu. Îl iubesc.
