{Book #1 in the 'Adventures of Caretot Academy' Series} June Faye didn't want to be a little. What she wanted, was to stay at school with her closest friend, Lacie Quinn. But instead, her test results reveal that she would soon be whisked off to an academy specialized for young littles and caregivers, Caretot Academy. Upon arriving, she meets May Roux and Milo Royals, two fellow freshman that will soon become her closest friends. She also learns about some of the school's legends, and sets out on a quest to find a secret treasure that some of the first students of the academy had left, all those years ago. This isn't just an adventure about a search for hidden treasure, though. It was also one that would result in friendship, and acceptance. This was a story that would end with June making some very important, life changing decisions. Will you be going on this journey with her? You'll never know what you're missing out on if you don't, you never know what's waiting just beyond that old wooden door.

There are no countries, no borders. Technology and humanity work hand in hand as one; where information is always available and in reach, and it doesn't take any effort, not even the push of a button. In the New World, every person has a programming chip attatched to their brain, where information comes automatically. In the New World, everyone is born blind and def, and knows nothing about themselves. Their personalities are a blank slate waiting to be written on. The New World is perfection, and a dream come true. Like all the other people in the New World, Laila was born blind and deaf, and had no idea about herself. She and the other Youths grew up in small separate isolated rooms with one toilet, one bed, and no windows-with no human contact what-so-ever. Her job was to learn about the rules, society, the rights, the wrongs, and customs of the New World to prepare for when she and all the other Youths would be set free. She ate, gained information, and slept, in the same routine of every day, of every week, of every year in her life, until Recognition Day. At age 16, the Youths gain their sight, their personalities, their likes, their dislikes, their name, and so much more. Based on their assigned personalities, they are given a job, their friends, their favorite things, etc. On that day, Laila gets a life, the best life she could ever imagine. But maybe she's not living the life she expected. And maybe, the New World isn't as perfect as she's been taught. WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD, WE HOPE YOU LIKE YOUR STAY... ### Book 1
