A Miraculous Ladybug Lukanette fanfiction. Marinette finally grows up and stops obsessing over an idea to fall for the constant love and support by her side. For a while, they are happy. Luka feels like he's been in love with Marinette ever since he first met her, but everyone knows that she is interested in Adrien, so he's resigned to being just her friend. When he suddenly begins to question who his father may be, Marinette eagerly jumps in to help and brings them closer together. Will it be enough to make them more than just friends or is Marinette's heart only interested in Adrien? Someone else soon figures out who Luka's father is and begins digging into Luka's life causing some unpleasant consequences. Feeling like help is needed, Luka and Marinette pair up with Cat Noir (and Ladybug) to try to discover just who is behind this, but with each step they take they unexpectedly put Marinette's secret at risk. Will the friends be able to discover who is behind everything before Marinette's secret is revealed? I did not create these characters. This story is inspired after watching the episode Miracle Queen, this is my take on what I think and want to happen next. (Spoilers in the description if you haven't watched Miracle Queen.) After seeing Adrien and Kagami grow closer and seem to be falling for each Marinette starts to wonder if she should let go of her feelings for Adrien and to move on. As long as Adrien is happy, as long they treat each other right. Though when she cried in Luka's arms she felt a sense of peace while he comforted her. This action opens her eyes on how she truly feels about Luka and that maybe, just maybe she can move on from Adrien. But that isn't the only thing she needs to worry about, now that Master Fu lost his memories and Marinette becomes the new guardian, she needs to take make decisions she never thought she would ever have to face.
