Pero al ver las verdaderas intenciones de ambos se decepcionó, ellos dos llevarían a todo el inframundo a la extinción por lo cual decidió ocultarse en el mundo humano y llevar una vida tranquila. Así fue durante varios años hasta que llegó la invasión de algunos ángeles caídos a la ciudad de Kuo que es en donde se ha mantenido oculto y así desde las sombras observando cómo actuaban los séquitos Sitri y Gremory e interfiriendo sólo cuando era necesario. También interesándose en el crecimiento de Hyoudou Issei el actual Sekiryuutei, siendo testigo de cada pelea, cada logro, cada hazaña, cada sacrificio, pero también descubriendo cómo lamentablemente las facciones sólo lo han estado manipulado al igual que los séquitos Gremory y Sitri y su inevitable traición al joven Sekiryuutei. El temiendo que le vayan a dar un trato injusto, ya que durante todo el tiempo que lo ha estado observando se ganó su respeto al ver su determinación, su fuerte deseo por proteger a los suyos y el nunca rendirse. Ahora el hará varios preparativos para poder ayudar a Issei y a sus padres pero también para hacerles ver a las facciones que esa traición les costará muy caro y también hacerles ver que el Karma siempre llega y cuando aparece ataca de manera inmisericorde y sin excepciones.
