She might not have her parents to visit, but she still had a lot of relatives that would love to see her again. But at the end of the holidays Hope changed. This is a poorly written book, however does get better after the first couple chapters as I find my feet. My books 'She's my yellow' and 'A dreaded choice' are a lot better and contain some of the same storylines, check them out if you enjoyed this one!
