Namanya Gita, Gita Putri Hendrawan. Gita adalah gadis blasteran antara Belanda dan Indonesia yang sudah menurun sejak neneknya. Tidak lupa, karena ia blasteran dia pastinya cantik. Rambut coklat cerahnya yang halus bergelombang, mata coklat yang indah, dan bibir tipis yang merah. Dari semua kelebihannya ia memiliki satu kelebihan yang unik yaitu melihat apa yang orang tidak bisa lihat. Dia bisa melihat hantu. Semua dimulai dengan pertemuannya dengan hantu lelaki asal Belanda yang bernama Lavis. Ia bertemu dengannya saat ia kelas 1 SMP. Gita berjalan ke sebuah rumah tua di desa bibinya dan di tamannya ia melihat lelaki tampan yang kurang lebih berusia 18 tahun. Pada hari itu mereka menghabiskan waktu bersama sampai lupa waktu. Mereka berakhir berpisah sampai bertahun-tahun. Saat 16 tahun, Gita bertemu dengan Si Hantu Lavis di tempat yang sama. Apa yang akan terjadi dipertemuan ke-2 mereka ?
