Rey's eyes widened as Kylo ran towards her full speed ripping his helmet off, the rain soaking his hair and face. She gasped as his hand came around her and gripped the back of her neck, pulling her into an angry kiss. Shock radiated through her whole body, paralyzing her legs. One year after the events of The Last Jedi, the Resistance is almost extinct. Only a dozen Resistance fighters are left. They hide on a small planet, usually only known by smugglers, Numidian Prime. Rey has a lot of time to think, and slowly realizes, that Kylo is maybe more important to her than she thinks. So, she decides to open the Force bond once again. Kylo at the same time, is the Supreme Leader of the First Order. Despite the fact that a lot of people still fear him and the First Order, most inhabitants of the First Order planets are thankful for the maintenance of the Order, even though freedom is almost none-existent. A lot of Resistance fighters don't understand, why they are still fighting. To show them, that there is a reason to fight on, Leia sends Rey, Chewie, Finn and her old friend Lando Calrissian on a secret mission...

What happens after the final moments of The Last Jedi? Where will it lead to for Kylo Ren and Rey? As the pair continue their battle of the force bond, only time will tell how long their masks will remain untouched.The fight for justice looming over their heads, the faces of light and dark meet in the middle to find the balance of the Force. Kylo doesn't want anyone to know it but regrets killing his father for nothing. There is still force moments between him and Rey but She keeps blocking them out. Rey has decided to help the resistance in any way she can. The Resistance is being rebuilt but there is a new challenge they must face. They were hacked. Rey needs to find out who hacked them in order for herself to feel useful. But when she bumps into Kylo, how will it go when Rey can't block him? Will she finally get Ben Solo to come back home or will she fail and have to make him pay for the consequences of his actions?
