A continuation of 'The Dance Between Darkness and Light.' Uprooting from everything they know, Alison and her daughter, Mya, have settled comfortably with Emily in their new home in St. Paul. The dust from Emily's broken engagement has settled, and they're all desperate to leave Rosewood in the past. Unfortunately, Ali's ex-husband's recent passing has left his sister, Jamie, less than comfortable with the new lifestyle Mya is being exposed to. Ali and Em just want to be left alone. To move forward and become the family they've both been wanting and fighting so hard for. A family who is free to be whom they choose. 'The Darkness of Light' will continue to explore Alison and Emily's developing relationship through further discovery of identity, marriage, parenthood, loss and the unknown bounds of love.
