"Quick, kiss me." I choked on my baguette as I looked up at my boss, his intense grey eyes burning into me as my jaw fell open with a mouthful of chocolate baguette. "What?" I snapped, was it just me or did my boss suddenly lose his mind? One minute he was talking about rescheduling the meeting booked at two and then he said kiss me, maybe he said something else, maybe it was miss, bliss, piss? But all the thoughts in my head were swiped away as he stood up from his chair, his tall frame hovering over me before he grabbed my arm so roughly the baguette I was holding fell out of my grip and he pulled me upwards, and the man I have worked for three years and never touched suddenly was pressed against my chest as his lips met mine. And the piece of baguette in my mouth only made me choke further. * * * Gabriel Parish needed the wealth that came when his grandfather passed away, but there was a catch, he had to be married, or have a wife of some sort for at least two years, and the 29 year old bachelor had no intention of ever getting a wife, they were too complicated. So with the advice of his lawyer, he does the next best thing, claims he had a wife and now they were divorced, only his grandmother needed proof. And that's how Aurora Rodrigues, the personal assistant of Gabriel was dragged to Greece under the impression of a "business conference" as they paraded her as his ex-wife, without her knowing. But with the whole family after the wealth if Gabriel fails, he had to make sure she doesn't find out, and he secures the 3 billion inheritance and makes sure he doesn't break his grandmother's heart.

***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. He stands a few yards away, with his fingers clenched and his jaw set. A gentle breeze blows his dark chocolate hair off his forehead, showing his angry brows and glaring eyes. A slight shudder runs down my spine as his eyes dance down my body shamelessly. I blush thinking how I had done the same. Suddenly he takes a step forward and on instinct I take many quick steps back, putting distance between us. My heartbeat picks up, thumping louder as my blood pumps faster throughout my body. He growls lowly in warning as I take more hesitant steps away. I turn to the side when two strong arms stop me, I struggle against their holds at first until, but a chilling growl stops everything in its path. Instantly the hands let go and the two men back off. "Why are you running?" A deep voice asks, he stands directly behind me, gently caressing my arm, running his middle finger up and down twice. With my lack of response he grasps my left arm, shaking me with black filled eyes. "Why." He growls. "...t-they agreed that once they're safely back to you, that I c-could leave." My voice is quiet, I look down at the dirt embarrassed at my stuttering. He grips my arm tighter causing me to look up into his dark grey eyes. "That agreement has changed, mate."
