Il miliardario Tony Stark sembra essersi messo la testa a posto: ha sposato la sua segretaria, la signorina Pepper Potts, ed ha avuto due bellissime figlie gemelle con lei, Spencer e Stacy. Però non è tutto rose e fiori perché Pepper chiede il divorzio quando le bimbe hanno poco più di un anno. Tony, disperato, cerca per anni di avere le figlie lui stesso in affidamento e ci riesce. Ma la vita con due ragazze non è facile, soprattutto ora che si ritrovano ad avere venticinque anni. Spencer e Stacy sono l'una l'opposto dell'altra. Spencer è abituata a sentirsi ripetere continuamente la frase "sei proprio come tuo padre" infatti è la copia al femminile di Stark: estremamente intelligente, un po' arrogante, sicura di sé e con un bel caratterino che tiene testa a tutti. Mentre Stacy è come la madre. Timida e riservata, sembra vivere all'ombra della sorella. Sono come il giorno e la notte, ma entrambi sanno che non possono vivere l'una senza l'altra. Le due sorelle Stark si ritroveranno anche alle prese con l'amore; mentre Stacy decide di frequentare Steve Rogers, Spencer ha un modo tutto suo di vedere l'amore.
